Continuous sand filters (Contifilter)

 

The continuously cleaned sand filter WBG-Contifilter combines excellent removal of suspended solids with low head losses. The backwash and cleaning of the filter sand is effected by an internal cleaning mechanism avoiding the use of backwash pumps and blowers.

WBG Contifilters are applied as a single filters in stainless steel or GRP design or for large capacities as pre-fabricated elements installed in a concrete structure.
